Fuel Alert The fuel alert device is designed to detect the theft of fuel from a fuel tank of a truck when stationary, unattended or the driver is asleep in the vehicle. It can be used as a stand-alone device to trigger the air horns or switch on the rear work light, with an alarm system or an ATA GSM Communicator providing 24/7 monitoring.
Stand Alone Device
The fuel alert system can be used to operate the air horns of the protected Truck and or the rear work light to alert people to the presence of a thief. The device arms itself 3 minutes after the ignition is turned off and once it senses the tank is being emptied then it will trigger for 30 seconds, when it will stop and wait for further attack.
With an alarm system
The fuel alert device can be connected to trigger a security system that may be already fitted to the vehicle. The fuel alert will be triggered in the same way but will this time trigger the fitted security system.
With an ATA GSM Communicator (provides 24/7 monitoring)
The fuel alert device can be connected to trigger an ATA GSM Communicator (provides 24/7 monitoring) that may be fitted to the vehicle. The fuel alert will be triggered in the same way but will this time trigger the fitted ATA GSM Communicator which on activation will ring up to three phone numbers either mobile or landline. This can alert a driver when away from the vehicle or fleet manager to the theft of the fuel from a vehicle parked in a compound for example. This unit can be used with a Pay As You Go Orange or Vodaphone Sim card so that the only on going cost is the activation of the unit.
With a pager unit
You can have the Fuelalert activate all of the above units the choice is yours.
